SSL objects already created with <a href="../man3/SSL_new.html">SSL_new(3)</a> are not affected, except when <a href="../man3/SSL_clear.html">SSL_clear(3)</a> is being called.</p> <p>SSL_set_ssl_method() sets a new TLS/SSL <b>method</b> for a particular <b>ssl</b> object.
